RansNet offers SD-WAN / SD-Branch and Wi-Fi Hotspot products as an end-to-end solution for enterprise customers and service providers.
SD-WAN solutions consist of several product families.
Cloud Managed Gateway (CMG) Series (SD-Gateway)
HotSpot Access (HSA) Series (4G, SD-Branch)
Universal Access (UA) Series (5G, SD-Branch)
mfusion SD-WAN orchestrator
CMG – Cloud Managed Gateway
CMG is deployed as an SD-WAN Gateway (hardware or virtual appliance), with TCP/IP routing, Multi-WAN link balancing, Virtual Private Networking, bandwidth control (QoS), stateful firewall inspection and application filtering, all packed into a powerful purpose-built appliance in one device, saving the cost for additional router and firewall, while enjoying the maximum performance and reducing point of failures.
HSA – Hotspot Access (SD-Branch) Series
HSA is a branch router integrated with 4G cellular, Machine-To-Machine (M2M), IoT, and all essential enterprise and security features.
UA – Universal Access Series
UA is a branch router integrated with 5G cellular, Machine-To-Machine (M2M), IoT, and all essential enterprise and security features.
mfusion - SD-WAN Orchestrator
RansNet mfusion platform is a multi-tenant and customizable cloud platform that provides proactive monitoring on all critical components of the IP network devices to detect and alert faults/errors in accordance with the pre-defined thresholds and escalate for prompt resolution. At the same time, it provides SD-WAN orchestration, configuration management, patch/firmware management, and service provisioning for RansNet devices.

Wi-Fi hotspot solutions consist of below product families:
HotSpot Gateway (HSG) Series
Universal Access Points (UAP) Series
HSA and UA Series
HSG – HotSpot Gateway
HSG is a captive portal Gateway to provide guest Internet access with granular user access control and security enforcement. It allows enterprises or venue owners (hotels, malls, clubs, F&B, cruises, vessels, etc) to offer flexible and differentiated Internet access for guests, VIP members or visitors.
Sitting at the Internet edge, HSG manages user Internet access through a few key modules:
Router, Stateful firewall, DHCP server, Multi-WAN
SD-WAN Gateway
HotSpot Access Controller (hotspot instance)
Captive Portal (CP) Server
Authentication Authorization and Accounting (aka RADIUS).
Advertising Gateway
UAP - Universal Access Point
UAP series is an enterprise-grade AP designed for intensive Wi-Fi usages, indoor/outdoor deployments, and flexible mesh wireless deployments. It's intended for providing Wi-Fi at malls, exhibition centers, enterprise offices, schools, hospitalities, and dormitories.
Below is a typical topology using RansNet HSG and UAP for on-premise captive portal deployment.
HSA & UA Series
The HSA and UA series come with built-in dual-band wireless capabilities, and they can form wireless mesh with UAP to deliver direct Wi-Fi to end users.
HSA and UA also works with central HSG (cloud captive portal) to redirect users to central captive portal for guest access control.
Below is an architecture where we use HSG as the SD-WAN gateway and central captive portal server for HSA/UA.
